My future job

I imagine me as a war correspondent or as an investigative journalist. Rather, I'd like to work on any journalism job where I can help someone who's in trouble.

I don't care if it's in or out of the country but I'm not going to deny that I'd like to go out of the country, as far away from Chile as possible. I know sometimes I'll have to be in an office, to write or edit the material I get, even if I like fieldwork better, but I´m gonna enjoy it anyway.

Resultado de imagen para periodismoI've already started to assume that my salary will never be the same as an engineer, a public administrator or an accountant. As long as I can feed myself and live in a dignified way, I will be content.

My family would probably have liked me to study and work in another sector. When I chose this career, they asked to me, "Are you sure this is for you?", "Don't you prefer another career?,  but I know that nothing more suits my personality than journalism.

I can be whoever I want, do what I want and learn what I want. I just hope I feel comfortable as I am today, when I work in future.

    Being a war correspondent must be very epic, but also very dangerous. I´ve seen documentaries and it looks great.

    I think many of us live in this situation where parents were not sure that we studied journalism

    I love the final sentence, one can be whoever he wants and study what he wants, no matter what others say. I think that’s something everyone should learn.

My best holidays

I think the best holidays I've ever had was in January of this year, in Cajón del Maipo. Just a couple of days before the journy - and without planning anything-, I decided to go there with good a friend of mine, called Diego. We took a couple of backpacks, a tent, a kitchenette, a lot of Maruchan, water and some food, and walk throught the river. Our path was never clear but we known that the water was our safe way. The three days we were there, the routine was the same. In the morning, we climbed the mountain, deep in the forest. In the evening, we ate a little more than the morning, splashed the river, sang and listened the sounds of the woods. At night, we sneak into several camps to sleep. Then, after all, we enjoyed our company until we fell asleep. Perhaps, that travel could not be extraodinary, but it was beatifull. Although it was short, I think that I'll not forget it. After that, I came back to the grey and boring center of Santiago.

My favorite movie/ Tv series

If I have to pick up one of the last films that i've seen, it would be "Cinema Paradiso". I really, really like the plot of this film. It was a combination about family love, a kind of brotherhood and overcoming.  The first time I wachted this movie, I was in a class called  "Imagen y sociedad"and we had to analize how it was made. Just in the first escenes, I started to cry. The movie was so beatiful that i felt in love with it. Anyway, even if I describe how much I liked this movie, I dont really have a favorite one. About series, I see a lot of these made by Netflix. This site have so many series with great plots and histories, like "Bojack horseman", "Sex education", "The alienist", "The dark crystal: the age of resilience" and others. But my favorite its called Brooklyn 99. It's a kind of comedy about a squad in Brooklyn and how they solve policial cases and common problems. I like in that way, 'cause i

My bucket list

I don't project myself into the future too much. Normally, I only live day-to-day and I tray to no stress too much about what´s ahead of me. Considering that, my bucket list could have a not very specific gols. In fact, I even call them utopian, First, i'd like to graduate. Then i could get a job and support to my family, but the life of a recent graduate journalist in Chile it's hard. To achieve that, I'd like to get a job in the non-traditional media that's not going to go bankrupt. My second big goal is have the money to live in a to live without debt and without worries. After that, I could  get a house to my mother and sister. The latter has been a difficult road for at least ten years. Solving that, I could be quiet to work to fix my self-esteem and depression issues. (another long way to walk). It's possible that thanks to the social outburst most of these objectives are one step ahead of being possible. But most of these would still be difficult
